A symptom of the hustle culture?

Catherine Rolt, author of The Pain Paradox, has a huge mission, which was the driving force behind writing her book.

She believes that pain is our friend and is trying to teach us something that we’ve likely been avoiding.

Ignoring unpleasant events, relationships, or unresolved issues isn’t so hard to do when you’ve become detached from who you are. When you’re singularly focused on what is wrong with you, rather than what is right.

Then there’s the problem of our hustle culture, which ignores our natural rhythms, the ones that coincide with the seasons. Rush, rush, rush, stuff, stuff, stuff. Until you’re in pain and on the floor. And western medicine can’t find the root cause.

Today Catherine joined me to discuss The Pain Paradox, and give each of us go-getters the permission to follow our natural rhythms, tune into our bodies, and uncover our potential so we can live life with far more joy and ease.

I think you’ll fall in love with Catherine, just as I have.
