Worry Not

Walt and I went out the other night to listen to some music.  We sat on a couple of stools in a cozy nook among all kinds of people and let the music flow over us, through us. I’m talking total peace.

Here in rural Ireland, among the dairy farms and great tracts of pasture land, we’ve heard some of the most amazing performances. Who knew?

I got a note from a friend in Connecticut the other day.  The main roads were clogged with holiday shoppers.  She was freaking out because she had to attend yet another compulsory party. And I thought about how lucky, how peaceful I feel here.  How grateful I am to be out of that fray.

So I wanted to share this video (again) of a performer we caught last year.  So you can get a taste of what it is that keeps me grounded here. My little holiday gift to you.
